This credenza certainly has a lot of stance and a good example of Italian modernist design, featuring a solid walnut wood construction.

According to the previous owner, the credenza was bought from Poltronova by their parents during the 60s. Although there is no official provenance for this credenza nor any present markings, this credenza shares a lot of common traits with the Serena series from Giovanni Michelucci. In fact, the round feet are a direct match, and like the Serena series, the hinging doors of this credenza are sculpted too.

There is a substantial chance that this credenza is of Michelucci’s design as well, but no official markings were found,

The credenza is built in high quality and only by the use of solid walnut wood.

The credenza is in good vintage condition with some normal visible wear. The top has some chips in the surface layer, that have been repaired by a specialist.
