This dark brown wood and brown leather two seater sofa is in excellent condition. The wooden frame, which is almost black, harmonizes very nicely with the slightly lighter brown tone of the leather. The soft leather comes in almost new condition, the wooden frame shows minimal signs of wear. The suspension of the sofa is perfect. A classic in excellent condition.



Afra & Tobia Scarpa designed the Bastiano models in 1962 for the Italian manufacturer Gavina, which was known for exceptional designer furniture. In 1968, Gavina and the production of the Bastiano model from Knoll Int. accepted. The absolutely timeless Bastiano models have since become one of the classics of mid-century modern.
