Amsterdam School round side table in oak. Here we have another wonderful side table in the authentic and appealing Amsterdam School style. That this style is currently experiencing an enormous revival is perfectly understandable. The craft and details with a beautifully acquired patina brings it to a cohesive whole. A style of yesteryear that enthusiasts can so appreciate. So this table is made entirely of oak, showing a quiet pattern and a beautiful glow. The legs are slender at the start and run up a bit wider after about twenty inches. At that transition to the wider part we see the cross beams that run like a kind of stepped gable to the round plateau. This platform, by the way, used to be used to put down a plant for decoration. Entirely in line with the highly decorative character that characterizes the Amsterdam School. When we turn our gaze to the upper part of the table we see a drop-shaped and black colored decoration adorning the legs. On the frame ultimately rests the beautiful round oak top two inches thick and extends about three inches, creating a pleasant shadow on the frame. The condition of the table is good with some scratches and blemishes diffusely scattered but overall this is a very eye-catching item that will grace any interior.
