Original Text By finding this lamp my first impression and thoughts went to an 70s meccano toy box. The base of this metal lamp is shaped like a meccano building block that has clearly inspired the designer. Having a closer look, you notice the details of the Mategot inspired shade in enameled perforated metal. It gives the lamp a refined touch and brings a nice effect when the lamp is lit. The lamp is Italian made and dates from the late 70s. It’s standing in a used, working condition with an original patina.
