Low oak and tweed armchairs Amsterdamse school 1930s, set of 2

アールデコ時代のアムステルダムセ学校風の非常にクールな低い肘掛け椅子のセット。おそらく1930年代か1940年代のものと思われます。オーク材のフレームは非常に特殊な後方形状に曲げられており、非常に興味深いシルエットを生み出しています。肘掛けと背もたれの曲がりが見た目をさらに引き立てています。シートクッションには古いスプリングがまだ残っており、パッドがたっぷり入っています。背もたれの輪郭にはオリジナルのリベットがまだ残っています。椅子にはサーモンピンクのツイード張りが特徴で、おそらく後の段階で取り付けられたものと思われます。椅子は全体的に非常に良好な状態にあり、木材には一致する緑青が見られます。

Very cool set of low armchairs in the manner of De Amsterdamse School from the art-deco period. Likely from the 1930s or 1940s.

The oak frame is bent in a very particular backwards shape and provides for a very interesting silhouette. The bent in the armrests and backrests really complements the look. The seat cushion still has the old springs and is richly padded. The backrest still has the original rivets around the contours.

The chair features a salmon pink tweed upholstery, likely to have been fitted in a later stage.

The chairs are in very good overall condition, with some matching patina on the wood.
